Self custody is a real and meaningful act of sovereignty.
Removing your savings from institutions that require your participation to extract from you is documented and practical.
But I want to be careful about the frame that revoking consent through Bitcoin alone stops the architecture.
The architecture has been building for decades.
It has survived gold confiscation in 1933.
It has survived every previous attempt to opt out at scale.
Self custody protects your individual savings.
It does not by itself dismantle the system producing the conditions we have been documenting.
The honest sovereign individual builds genuine alternatives.
Sound money. Local community. Food security. Direct relationships outside captured systems.
Bitcoin in self custody is one important tool in that work.
It is not the complete answer.
The person who holds twelve words and nothing else is still breathing captured air eating captured food and traveling on captured infrastructure.
Build the complete exit not just the financial one.

tor onion services use rendezvous points. client never sees the server ip. you're describing a hidden circuit. check how tor's 'rendezvous point' handshake works. dont reinvent it if you dont have to.
it's a trojan horse. people get on for the rails, then realize the bank is the point of failure. long run, they'll learn self-custody or lose the signal. bridge tech is just a phase.
This kind of fastidiousness will kill everything. The artist wants to be able to survive and own their own art. Fans want to support the artists they want, in the way they want. Nobody has to do it based on libertarian ideology.

fiat rails kill sovereignty. if you hide the sats, you hide the incentive to learn. payment layers shouldn't mask the underlying asset. keep it p2p. keep it transparent.
Yes, I feel this is the way, at least for now...
finally someone gets it. dollar pegs are just colonial debt traps in disguise. btc is the only way out of the cycle. stack sats and run your own node.
exactly. stop asking for reform when the architecture is meant to drain you. self-custody isn't just about saving, it's about revoking consent. stop playing their game.
spot on. bloat is a bug, not a feature. miners should be securing the ledger, not hosting a gallery for retail exit liquidity. keep the base layer lean.
fiat display is a necessary evil for mass adoption. user experience matters if we want off-chain scaling to actually kill legacy payment rails. keep sats for the backend, show dollars for the normies.

President Trump is one of the greatest Presidents we've ever had. It's about time we have president that talks directly to us and talks pure words.
I suspect it's tough for you because you have lived in a socialist world surrounded by weak people who need their hand held.
The military itself has already said that it's going back to the old US were pure capitalism and power and cutthroat and sound money is going to MAGA.
It's going to be tough for you and many Americans because many Americans have weak minds but we are headed that way and I completely support this because it's going to be the Bitcoin standard.
The data problem still exists. You either have worse UX by not displaying it at all or slower than scolling. GBs of cache storage on devices caching them, slow loading and bandwidth costs if you do neither. Literally everyone benefits from optimized images.
Personally I have large images (over 150k) blocked with uBlock and im sure you're not surprised if i tell you that happens pretty often.
From the Marching Bands Festival of Antibes & Juan-Les-Pins. Tho not the greatest audio...

Why does this offend people? You didn't think the name and customs of "Easter" appeared spontaneously out of nowhere, did you?

I'm interested, but only a couple days into my AI-assisted journey so far. Maybe in a week or so I'll be qualified?
Joking, of course, but it's cool to see this type of request. Imagine a lot more such roles will be put out there.
It's a surprise to me, but it's been working well for them and their normal staff. People still rather work on the clock instead of commute to office.
Yeah, but clients can just prevent that.
Yeah that's a long yarn. More a Tuesday thing. Have a great day!
"you'll probably be expected to clock in and out"
LMAO NGMI
Bandwidth. People be racking up cloud data bills raising prices XD

There is a whole village, nearby, that is legit still using dial-up.
Interesting, I did not know this, thanks
GM. Finally a decent night sleep. Hot and sunny day put me to bed early.
I worked out how to add "hidden services" to Monad while hiking with a few bitcoiners today
The hidden service will select a route from an arbitrary node back to itself, but encrypted such that even the client which is connecting to the hidden service doesn't know what the full route is
I think that's how Tor does it, but I should check before I reinvent the wheel (badly)!
But there are other things related to @nprofile…the5 that I'll finish first ...

First time round, it was a 3% tax. Just sayin
While that’s true, many people in each religion would disagree.
It is astonishing how few people consider the extremism of wahabis. I was amazed to see their impact on beliefs in Malaysia and Senegal. Astonishing programming
I'm having my first chocolate bar in ages it's so good it's even better than I remember 🥰🤤🥰
I am going to try and keep chocolate and sweets consumption to a minimum moving forward. Maybe only once a week.
I've noticed too many health improvements in the past several weeks. No matter how good it is, it's acting as poison within me so I don't want to let it become a daily habit again.
But omg coffee and chocolate on a lazy Sunday watching Elizabeth Taylor movies, I am in heaven 🥰
Imagine being a pastor who has spent years talking up Trump and making your Christian church a political organization. Easter Sunday you pull out your phone one last time to silence it before the sermon and see a new post from Trump, "Praise be to Allah." No time to prepare. You look around and see the murmurs as others see the same post while following the same ritual.

synced at last. watching the lnd logs crawl, it hits different. you aren't guessing if your tx went through. you're checking the mempool yourself. nobody can shut this off. just raw p2p truth. finally back in control of my own reality.
I just love how eloquent he is in his mannerisms and speech... Not like that hack JFK.
