Israel pays off American politicians using money sent to them by America. Great deal for Israel and the American politicians they own.

Woah hey now, I may have been part of that "good old boy" thing not that long ago XD There is a lot of variety there. What I tend to find is actually problematic is that people can often dismiss the outside world or general selfishness. Which is a hard thing to explain. But they tend to think they can get away with more than they can and just judgement that isn't helpful.
I'm okay with old fashioned mischief, bit of a silly goose myself given the opportunity, a few hundred horsepower and a straight road, or perhaps a cornfield. But plenty can take risks a little too far, hurt people and think they can get away with it.
Ew, I may have to rethink my judgement of her
Well, at least you have the rain ☔️😍
If it isn't too slow and doesn't cause issues when some of them are slow to respond or down. 3-6, depending on your client.
The best place for this kind of spectacle 😄

I disagree with the notion that the outside world has no idea what's going on. They certainly don't know the nuances of what we are arguing about. All they see is the headline saying things like "Bitcoin promotes CSAM" or "Bitcoin founder found in Epstein files" or other similar rage bait type headlines. The world is in fact watching.
Just the other day, Bitcoin came up in conversation with some normie aquaintences. One of the first things they said was, I heard the bitcoin founder guy was a pedophile and theres kiddie porm shared on bitcoin... they don't differentiate between the various arguments. They take every single headline and attribute it to Bitcoin. Not core, not knots, not bip110. They simply lump all the headlines in and count it all as crypto (maybe a fee discerning can identify Bitcoin as being dofferent).
That said, fair point that here on nostr its an echo chamber of an echo chamber... but most people opining are doing so outside of just nostr. Its public facing and its all bad PR.
Not really, I’ve just touched the stove too many times.

## Bitcoin is over $60k and losers on twitter have been algo'd into being bearish lmfao
Is there more China bashing going on in the mainstream? At this point I have to suspect it's seeded by the usual suspect: Israel

Yes, and now it’s been co-opted by the stablecoin maxis at Coinbase. Congratulations, bitcoiners.
⚡️🚨 ALERT - Valve says the global memory shortage isn’t improving, warning that RAM and SSD prices are likely to keep rising.
“There’s no light at the end of the tunnel, honestly. It’s still getting worse.”
Valve says memory manufacturers are focusing on high-end chips for AI servers, leaving less supply for consumer hardware.
“Things that were commodity items a year or two ago… now you have to negotiate really hard just to secure a few thousand. And there are so many more people in line in front of you.”
Valve sees no improvement anytime soon.

Every business owner thinks they know how their business works.
Until someone quits.
Or gets sick.
Or retires.
Then they discover the business was being held together by knowledge nobody had documented.
That’s the blind spot.

Gold is used as a financial instrument and most of its value come from that.
It would be same with Bitcoin, as long as it was perceived as money by normal people. The moneyness of Bitcoin would form the core of its value on top of which other types of demand would be stacked.
With Gold I believe it has a fundamental demand for jewelry and other small use cases, and on top of that there is a vast amount of financial use cases that make its value be much bigger than that of other rocks.
In both cases if you remove the fundamental source of value the thing tends to zero.
GM good to hear from you 💜
The discussion is regarding the data being allowed and the technical framework (incentives) around it. OPReturn as a vessel for arbitrary data etc. This is all technical.
The morality piece is a next layer abstraction presuming what people *might* do when given the technical capability. That is when the subjective morality piece comes in. Yes, morality, culture and power dynamics are part of it but it stems from the incentives amd disincentives presented by each proposed technical solution.
Im not saying those are irrelevant. Im saying that the assumptions made by assuming someone's morality based on the implementation they support without other evidence is not constructive in the big picture.
Lets say I support bip110. Lets say bip110 forks and becomes the primary chain. But it came about by slandering and shitting on non bip110-ers. Great, you win the battle and bip110 is "bitcoin" and youve "won" the culture war within the bitcoin echo chamber. But the rest of the world doesn't make that distinction. All they see are bitcoiners as immoral criminals or whatever labels the winning camp placed on the losing camp and vice versa. From a hyperbitcoinization/adoption perspective, this hurts in the long run.
We don't all agree but for those of us wanting sovereign freedom money, we are all aiming for the same general goal. We don't all agree on how we get there but if we continue the infighting, there will be no one left to defend bitcoin when the bigger enemy scoops down.
Call it moral high ground or whatever you want but im looking at the bigger long term picture.
Yeah that would be great if so, I like Wisp... And I'm not boring folks with loads of technoanarchy at this point in time.
