Towels, Fury, and a 986 Euro Verdict
You paid over 7,000 euros for a luxury Greek island holiday. You wake at dawn. You search for 20 minutes. Every single sun lounger already wears a towel — but no human. Your children lie on concrete. And then you sue. This is not a sketch. This is a Hanover courtroom, May 2026, and the travel industry is reeling.

Michael Saylor Shatters 'Never Sell' Oath, Igniting Bitcoin Civil War
The unthinkable happened Tuesday night. The man who once told followers to sell a kidney before their Bitcoin just opened the door to dumping over 800,000 BTC onto the market. The fallout has been brutal, immediate, and deeply personal.

The Big Freeze: Bitcoin Is Fighting Over Your Coins Right Now
A quantum time bomb is ticking inside Bitcoin — and the developers who built the network are now at war over a plan to lock up billions in dormant coins before hackers get there first. The solution might destroy the very thing it aims to protect. Is your BTC next?

📰 **Nostr Enters Its Great Fracturing as Developers Sound the Alarm**
✍️ by NM team
The protocol that promised to liberate social media from billionaire control is eating itself alive. Key maintainers are walking away. The chain reaction began spinning last week, and almost nobody outside its tightest circle saw it coming until it was too late.

Doing as we speak. Multi user desktop and llm on the same GPUs. Yes 40-50 t/s isn't bleeding edge but it's totally usable. Memory is personally my bottleneck.
P100s have 732 GB/s on HBM2

📰 **What happened this week in the Bitcoin World**
✍️ by NM team
Michael Saylor just detonated the "never sell" doctrine he spent four years building — and the rubble hasn't even settled yet. Meanwhile, Bitcoin developers are debating whether to freeze coins own by Satoshi, Switzerland told Bitcoin proponents to go home, and a cruise ship virus has traders flashing back to the COVID crash of 2020. This was not a quiet week.

Love to see you're exploring decentralized noKYC options.
You still end up with the problem of getting Monero nonKYC.
Question is, what payment method WOULD you be comfortable with?
It all comes back to cash, doesn't it? ie, cash-by-mail or finding someone in your area to take cash.
I mean, you can get Amazon gift cards noKYC and use them as payment but you have to weigh the headaches involved and the margins....

Imagine working anywhere near politics and having to deal with sociopaths all day. Woof.
That was mine but I made a better app after it but no one cared lol ..
There is a conversation to be had about the "success" that my guy here is talking about using Samourai vs Wasabi.
Samourai famously publicly thumbed their nose at the law because they were confident they were working inside it. So the "Justice Dept" changed the rules and took them out.
A lot of integrity there. It's also idealistic and idealism is by nature a little stupid.
Wasabi otoh proactively overcomplied, saving their business and their devs. We all lombasted them with vitrol at the time. However in retrospect, it was strategically the better move from a business survival, "not go to jail" perspective.
IOW, it was pragmatic, not idealistic.
Regardless of what anybody thinks of Wasabi CJ technically (and there's lots of room for criticism)
from an operational standpoint,
they were able to stay in business and make progress decentralizing CJ coordination because they were pragmatic and prepared for the worst case scenario.
So not being *public, vocal idealists*, they were able to preserve the specific instance of their implementation and keep their devs out of jail.
It's an interesting strategic comparison.

I don't dislike hockey I just never watch it.
I don’t think it will be very usable considering the low memory bandwidth, limited datatype support and old microarchitecture.
And multiGPU will only make it worse.

time, energy, money, focus.
there's some other, much more pressing stuff taking my attention (rightfully) at the moment. and @npub1c74…2cj2 might do **slightly** better, economically, with that change - but it'll still likely lose money in the short/mid-term. which isn't the most compelling incentive 😆
not much that's why its important we build alternative decentralized networks now

I just think if you want to claim to be all about V4V the model doesn't allow you to set prices. Any amount is up to the person who chose to donate and whatever number they picked for whatever reason is their business. If the totals are too low for you to be happy with, you need to make better content.
Of course pointing out the git gud angle of V4V was not well received.
Pascal and newer is capable for small business/team LLM usage imo. You can't compete with frontiers for less than $25,000. You can get usable SMB agentic work for $3000 for a whole machine if you're careful.
I'm not sure I'm following. Why would key rotation require you to reveal an old key that wasn't revealed before?
I'd think of key rotation as the user announcing that, from now on, they won't use key pair X for signing events but will instead use key pair Y. In doing so, no old keys are revealed to anyone. The old private key isn't revealed, and the old public key was already public prior to the key rotation, so it's not newly "revealed" either.
Maybe you mean something different by "key rotation"?
